What a stand usually needs
- Fabric walls
The backdrop of the stand. An aluminium frame with tensioned fabric. Two people assemble it without tools and it goes back into its case for the next show.
Lead time: 5-7 days - Flags and A-frames
What people see from the aisle before they reach the stand. Wind flags outside the hall, A-frames at the entrance, masts in the car park.
Lead time: 4 days - Presentation folders
The wrapper for the offer you hand over at the stand. Board 300-350 g, because thinner stock curls in a bag before the visitor reaches the exit.
Lead time: 5-6 days - Catalogues
A product or company catalogue, sixteen pages and up. Binding follows block thickness, not taste: under a 4 mm spine perfect binding does not hold.
Lead time: 7-10 days
How far ahead to order
Working days before opening: production, one day to approve the proof and the courier to the country of the show. No dates here, because you are the one who knows the opening day: put it into the calculator below and you get the deadline with public holidays on both sides of the border.

The maths assumes delivery the day before opening, inside the build-up window. Anything shorter is express, so call us.
All wall fabrics and materials carry a DIN 4102 B1 certificate (schwer entflammbar). The certificate travels in the box: nobody has to forward it or dig it out of an inbox on build-up day.
Damage during build-up: reprint and delivery to the stand within 24 h. Call, do not write.

FAQHow far ahead should I order materials for BAU?
11 working days before opening if you are ordering fabric walls: 7 days of production, one day to approve the proof and 2 days for the courier. We do not print an exact deadline date here, because the organiser sets the opening day and can move it. Put your date into the calculator on this page and we count it with public holidays on both sides of the border.
When do you deliver materials for BAU?
Into the build-up window, not on the opening day: normally the day before opening, so the stand has the full set before assembly. You give us the build-up date at Messe München in the order and we aim at it, not at somebody else's calendar. If the organiser moves it, we change the delivery by phone, without rewriting the order.
Do you deliver to the stand number at Messe München?
Yes, to the stand number, not to the venue reception. Hall and stand number are a field in the order rather than a note in an e-mail, so they travel with the shipment. For larger builds our own crew comes in and puts the set up on site.
What fire certificate do I get for BAU?
A DIN 4102 B1 certificate for the fabrics and wall materials, on paper, in the same box as the print. The venue safety officer asks for it when signing off the build, so nobody has to dig it out of an inbox on build-up morning.
